Mr. Twomey has served as a member of our board of directors since July 2006. Mr. Twomey joined Biosite Incorporated, a medical diagnostic company, in March 1990 and is currently its Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. From 1981 to 1990, Mr. Twomey worked for Ernst & Young LLP, where he served as an Audit Manager. Mr. Twomey also serves on the board of directors of Senomyx, Inc., a biotechnology company, where he serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. Mr. Twomey holds a B.A. in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
